Hunting excursion on private property outside of Preston, Idaho. Lodging in a canvas tent with a cot is provided by VetCREW. Veteran to provide sleeping bag and all personal clothing appropriate for varied weather including cold and snow. Food at the camp will be provided by VetCREW and our partners at Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation (RMEF). This is a hunt with a guide for an elk. Veteran must have an Idaho hunting license and be able to obtain a tag for an elk. Veteran must be able to traverse at least one mile of mountainous terrain. A pre-camp dinner will be held for selected Veterans, alternates, and their families on September 17, 2022 in Boise.
